Just a quick heads-up that Thomson Airways are currently selling some ridiculously cheap direct flights to Phuket in Thailand from London Gatwick and Manchester. Prices start at just £219!

There are multiple dates in November and December for well under £300 from both airports. The Thomson site is actually quite good, so you’re probably best searching there using the +-3 days feature.

Manchester-Phuket, 1st-16th December: £219

London Gatwick-Phuket, 2nd-10th December: £286.00

Availability is obviously tight – so if you want to go I’d recommend booking as soon as physically possible.

Bottom line

Direct flights to Phuket but for a little over £100 each way is a fantastic price, and if you can find dates that suit you it’s a great deal!
