Clearly, charitable-giving is a hugely personal decision and I would urge you not to be influenced in which charity you donate to based on a Points/Miles kick-back. However, if for example this means you’ll give your unwanted stuff to Oxfam rather than going to the (considerably additional) effort of putting it all on eBay, then that’s a bit of a win-win.
