Oneworld airlines British Airways, American Airlines and Iberia are having another fantastic Business Class sale to the USA from various European cities.

There are lots of destinations – including Chicago, San Juan, Montreal, New York, Washington DC, Tampa, Austin etc all at great prices and it looks like Amsterdam, Paris and Rome are the best starting points.  Availability is superb and appears to run through to April.

The very best prices I can see are between Amsterdam and Chicago on AA but you can route via London on British Airways or Madrid on Iberia for similar prices.

~£820.00 (945 Euros) for Return Business Class tickets to the USA is pretty good – but if you don’t mind temporarily using a big chunk Avios you can bring the price even lower.

As you can see below, you can use 45,500 Avios to knock 292 Euros off the price (although the 210 Euros off for 29,000 Avios is a better deal!).

You can also see at the bottom that the flights would normally earn 13,240 Avios. Remember though that until 15th December you can get Triple Avios by crediting your flights to Iberia Plus (the BA promotion isn’t genuinely triple Avios on Business Class fares, the Iberia promotion is)  – so you would earn 39,720 Avios.

You could therefore book the flights for as little as ~£560.00 (653 Euros) + 5,780 Avios!

These deals are amazing, and can definitely make you wonder what the point of Points/Miles is these days…
