Taxi app Gett (formerly GetTaxi) has a couple of offers on at the moment that mean new customers can get £10.00 off a £20.00+ ride.
The first offer is open to everybody – all you have to do is sign up using a referral link and you get £5.00 free credit. Here is my link, but feel free to leave your own in the comments (the person who refers you gets £5.00 too – so if you use mine, thanks!)
The second offer is from Amex for £5.00 when you £15.00+.
You need to register like usual, either by signing into your Amex account, or through Amex Connect if your card isn’t actually issued by American Express (MBNA, Lloyds etc), or your Amex account hasn’t been targeted for the offer.
“Save to Card to get a £5 statement credit on an eligible transaction of £15 or more online at Gett Taxi by 21 August 2016. Valid once per Card for the first 10,000 Cardmembers to save. Terms and payment restrictions apply.”
Note that you only get the £5.00 statement credit if your card gets charged £15.00 or more, so if it’s your first trip and you have the £5.00 credit in your Gett account for being referred, your journey would have to total £20.00+, and you would get £10.00 in total.
