Virgin Atlantic has just launched a new Summer promo through its loyalty scheme, Virgin Flying Club. It’s fairly simple: you need to register for it and you’ll then earn double miles and bonus tier points (the points that determine your status level in Virgin Flying Club) on flights in Virgin Premium Economy and Virgin Upper Class.

To benefit, you need to register and book by 15 June, 2016 and fly before 1 September 2016. You’ll earn 2 bonus tier points per flight in Premium Economy, and 3 per flight in Upper Class.

To use Virgin Atlantic’s example, the bonus miles means that on a flight from Heathrow to JFK, you would earn up to 41,496 miles per round trip, instead of the normal 20,748 miles, when travelling in Upper Class.

Note that while this offer is (obviously) limited to members of Virgin Flying Club, if you want to benefit you simply need to register for it, and then take advantage of the offer.

If you’re not already a member of Flying Club, you can enrol and take up the offer by completing the online registration form by 15 June 2016. Registration for the offer will automatically create your Flying Club account online.

Note that the bonus miles offer also applies to Virgin Atlantic codeshare flights operated by Delta Air Lines, where you will get a 100% miles bonus.
