We are massive fans of cashback sites like TopCashback and Quidco here at InsideFlyerUK. Both sites provide the opportunity for substantial savings when booking pretty much anything to do with travel, and TopCashback also allows you to transfer £50.00 of your cashback into Tesco Clubcard Points each year, which is tremendously valuable for anyone who wants to travel better for less.
If you sign up to TopCashback using my link before 9th May, you will get 500 bonus Tesco Clubcard Points after collecting your first £10.00 of cashback (I also get a small referral – thanks!).
Remember that you can transfer Tesco Clubcard Points to British Airways Avios at a rate of 1:2.4 or to Virgin Flying Club at a rate of 1:2.5, so the 500 Clubcard Points will get you 1,200 Avios or 1,250 Virgin Flying Club Miles.
The 500 Clubcard Points bonus does not count towards the standard £50.00 annual transfer limit to Tesco Clubcard, so by signing up now you could actually collect up to 5,500 Clubcard Points from TopCashback this year – which transfers to 13,200 Avios or 13,750 Virgin FC Miles.
As I mentioned, you do need to collect at least £10.00 of cashback first in order to get the bonus Clubcard Points, so what’s the best way to get substantial amounts of cashback?
Aside from everyday spend and travel related offers like the 15% back on Accor hotel bookings I wrote about yesterday, things like utilities and insurance can be excellent earners.
There’s also a selection of free ‘cashback’ offers for taking out free trials or handing over your insurance renewal dates etc.
What if you don’t actually need to buy anything though, and can’t be bothered with the free offers? (they can be a bit fiddly and are usually only worth a couple of quid each).
Find out how to hit your £50.00 annual Clubcard transfer limit quickly and easily in tomorrow’s post!
Apologies for the ‘cliffhanger’ – I didn’t have time to finish the next bit tonight. Actually I’m not sorry, I can feel the anticipation fizzing across the interweb!
