As part of its push to show off its new Dreamliner planes, and (of course) to “celebrate Chinese New Year”, Polish flag carrier LOT is offering some impressive prices on flights between London Heathrow and Beijing.

The discounted flights provide “something for everyone”, with good value return flights in Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class.

The best, and widely available, prices we found were as follows:

• Economy: £353 return
• Premium Economy: £760 return
• Business Class: £1288 return

While you need to book by 27 February, you can travel any time up to 30 June, 2016.

Clearly these Business Class prices can’t compete with some of the sub-£1000 Qatar Business Class flights to the Far East occasionally offered out of Europe. However, while repositioning flights to catch the Qatar bargains from Europe can be easy and cheap, the reduction of the hassle factor here (the flight departs from London!) makes the extra few hundred pounds far from the worst spend you’ll ever make.

Is LOT Business Class any good?
