We recently posted on the Hilton Winter Sale, which offers a discount of up to 35% on stays at Hilton hotels until December 2016.

However, there’s few things we like more than doubling up on promos, and there’s currently a fairly juicy Hilton loyalty scheme (HHonors) bonus available which you can combine with the current sale.

Provided that you stay at a Hilton property before 31 December 2015, you will earn double points on Monday to Thursday nights, and Triple Points on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Given that the Hilton Winter Sale principally applies to weekend stays, this is a really good opportunity to get a substantially discounted Hilton hotel stay, while earning double or triple loyalty points.

On a related point, we are having substantial success in making bookings during the week for the Hilton Winter Sale, a sale that is technically supposed to only apply to the weekend. The most recent success was a midweek stay at the Hilton London Metropole – heavily discounted from the standard non-flex rate even during the week, courtesy of the Winter Sale.

While there are no guarantees, it is well worth checking to see if you can bag a discounted rate during the week, should your travel plans require it.
