Manchester Terminal 3 has two lounges, a British Airways offering which handles their flights, US Airways and American.

The other – paid – lounge is the Escape Lounge, located along a short corridor on the 2nd floor of the departures level of the terminal. Reachable by lift, it is a Priority Pass and Airport Angel partner lounge. In addition you can book space via the Manchester Airport web site.

A number of airlines use this lounge as their partner in Manchester:

The friendly staff at the desk checked my membership, explained the lounge and let me roam.

There are a number of seating areas around the large windows which have views of the runways. There was a retro-livery KLM plane on the day of my visit.

There are views of the terminal from the inside windows:

There were some seating areas reserved for paying guests as opposed to walk-ins which seemed reasonable.

These are the images of the different seating areas that I took:

There was soup, some sandwiches, biscuits and some sweet traybake snacks available. Not wonderful but pretty reasonable for somewhere to sit whilst waiting for your flights. There are no announcements, but there is a large departures board prominently displayed in the lounge so you can keep track of gates etc.
