Eurostar Expands Service to Amsterdam + New Destinations

Eurostar has announced increased services to Amsterdam, with four daily trains from London starting in September. An additional train will be introduced in December, enhancing connectivity between London St. Pancras International and the Netherlands.

New Destinations on the Horizon

Eurostar is not just stopping at Amsterdam. The company is investing €2 billion in new trains and routes, aiming to meet the rising demand for international train travel. Future destinations include Frankfurt, Germany, and Geneva, Switzerland.

The routes with the highest growth in passenger numbers in 2024 (compared to 2023) were:

  • London – Paris (+280,000 passengers)
  • London – Brussels (+250,000 passengers)
  • Paris – Brussels (+160,000 passengers)
  • Paris – Rotterdam/Amsterdam (+140,000 passengers)
