Marriott’s attempt to compete with Airbnb – called Marriott Homes & Villas – is now three years old. To celebrate, Marriott Homes & Villas is offering its most lucrative promotion yet.

Marriott Bonvoy members can earn 30,000 bonus points per stay. To qualify, you must:

• BOOK between 16-18 May, 2022
• STAY at least 5 nights in the same property
• STAY between 1 June – 31 December, 2022

Earning Marriott Points and Elite Night Credit

One of the attractions of Marriott Homes & Villas is that you can earn elite night credits for status purposes. Bonvoy members with elite status also earn a welcome bonus of:

• Ambassador, Titanium, Platinum: 1,000 points
• Gold: 500 points

You also earn Marriott points on the paid rate – although you only earn 5 points per US dollar spent. (you earn 10 points at most hotel brands).

The standard elite bonuses also apply (i.e. 50% for Platinum members, 75% for Titanium members).

Bottom Line

30,000 bonus points can easily be worth £160-200. So, if you are looking for a non-hotel accommodation option… don’t forget to give Marriott Homes & Villas a look. But, as always, compare against the rate that you might find elsewhere for the exact same property…
