Hilton Honors

Hilton’s first promotion of 2022 started on 1st January and runs throughout April. Members earn 2,500 bonus points per STAY.

Worth It?

2,500 bonus points is worth £10 at best. For an inexpensive stay, this can be a reasonable bonus (but not for long, expensive stays!)

You can also earn these bonus points on award stays.

World of Hyatt

Hyatt’s first promotion of 2022 started on 15th January and runs until 20th April. Members can earn 2,022 bonus points every SECOND night. Note that you must already have registered for the promotion.

Worth It?

The worldwide promotion works out to 1,011 bonus points per night, worth roughly £12.50. For an inexpensive stay, this can be a reasonable bonus. But for expensive stays you won’t be happy with the % rebate.

However, you also earn these bonus points on award stays.

Marriott Bonvoy

Marriott’s first promotion of 2022 started on 8th February and will run throughout April. Members can earn double elite status credit and 1,000 bonus points per night.

Worth It?

1,000 bonus points per night is worth roughly £5-6. For an inexpensive stay, this can be a reasonable bonus. But for expensive stays you won’t be happy with the % rebate.

The double elite night element will be very attractive to those readers chasing Marriott elite status.

IHG Rewards

IHG is offering a promotion for April that appears to be targeted, but seems open to many members.

Worth It?

Since IHG points are worth 0.4p each, 2,000 points per night (on average) is worth £8.

Bottom Line

You should be able to find a promotion that works for you in April 2022. However, none of the promotions on offer reward big spenders…
