The British Airways e-Store is currently running a potentially lucrative promotion, offering the chance to earn up to 5,500 bonus Avios.

“For your first 10 online shopping transactions of £30 or more between 8th November & 31st December, we’ll reward you with increasing amounts of 100 Avios with each purchase – the more transactions you make, the closer you’ll get to your next flight.”

 

How does it work?

“Your first purchase will bring you 100 bonus Avios, a second purchase rewards you with another 200 Avios on top, and a third purchase will see 300 more Avios – you can keep on going up to 10 purchases. And remember, this massive bonus offer is in addition to the standard Avios rewards for each purchase.”

As you can see, if you completed all 10 (£30+) transactions in the eligible period, your total bonus would be 5,500 Avios. That would average out at 550 bonus Avios per transaction, which is a handy amount on relatively small purchases.

Note that the £30 per transaction minimum does not include VAT, shipping or handling.

This could work out very well in the run up to Christmas, but always check what is available on the cashback websites too, to make sure you really are getting a good deal!

Terms

The offer is available to all British Airways Executive Club customers. • British Airways Executive Club customers will receive a bonus on each qualifying transaction they make of at least £30 via shopping.ba.com, up to 10 transactions (exclusively at shopping.ba.com) • A qualifying transaction is where at least one Avios is earned from a single transaction and where at least £30 are spent and one Avios is earned from a single transaction, excluding shipping, handling and VAT. Check ‘My Account’ on eStore for the registered transaction amount. • Bonus Avios will be credited to your account in a separate transaction, once the transactions are approved. Any bonus Avios will be awarded within the same timeframe as the standard Avios. • Only transactions made with retailers listed through “Shopping online” will be eligible.
