Yesterday I flagged the excellent fares Aer Lingus is offering for direct flights from Manchester to New York JFK. If you’d rather travel from Dublin instead, you can do even better – with direct return flights available for as little as ~£165 (195 Euros).

For the cheapest ‘Saver’ fares, “customers are allowed to travel with a 10kg carry-on bag and a small personal item (handbag or laptop bag)”.

Bottom line

These are some of the best transatlantic fares I can remember seeing. Even back in the days when Norwegian flew to Stewart Airport (SWF) outside New York, you’d be hard pressed to find return flights for under £170.

With Aer Lingus, you’ll be fed and can earn a handful (~1,500) of Avios too…
