Marriott’s 5* Autograph Collection branded hotel in Barcelona, The Cotton House, is offering some incredible long-stay deals. You can book between 1-6 months for just ~£955 (1,100 Euros) per month. That works out at about £32 per day – and even includes breakfast:
You can find the generic offer here, but there seems to be a website security issue at the moment when you click through from there for further information. Here are the details:
Business Stay: ~£955 (1,100 Euros) per month
Cotton Stay: ~£1,240 (1,430 Euros) per month
Stay For Two: £1,385 (1,595 Euros) per month:

Bottom line
This is a truly spectacular deal. Standard rates are usually north of £200 per night, so the saving here is enormous. On the downside, I very much doubt that you would earn Marriott points and status credits from these long stays, but you can’t have everything!
I’m seriously tempted by this – anyone else?

Decent value even if you only stay for a couple of weeks!
Any idea why? Are they really not expecting even a fraction of normal occupancy in the next 6 months?

I think it’s basically down to the uncertainty. As a result, get people in long term, paying a bit of cash for the room and hopefully also on incidentals etc. But those prices are insane.

No idea to be honest – seems like absolutely mad pricing to me. They could easily charge double or more and it would still be a very good deal. Maybe something to do with the Bonvoy reimbursement on points bookings without technically affecting the ADR or something? Even then, there are a better ways of gaming that.
As you say – tempting even if you can’t use it for the whole time!

Something isn’t right. The fact that all of our anti-virus programmes are blocking that link says something… (it looks exactly like something a phishing scammer would set up)
1100 euros is simply too cheap for a month at a 5-star hotel in Barcelona. (although that might be the per-month price for a 6-month stay) Hotel occupancy is slowly rising – EU citizens can still visit, with vaccinated foreigners soon to follow. So it’s not Thailand or somewhere with closed borders and a huge excess of hotel rooms.

It all seem legit to me. I have emailed them a few times now and they have got back to me. They did state that the last checkout date is 31 July 2021 though, which doesn’t give much time with a minimum one month stay
