Yesterday, I flagged some very nice British Airways First Class deals, direct from London to the USA. First Class is great, but if you’re prepared to ‘slum it’ in Business Class to save a few hundred quid, you might want to take a look at the following fares too.
For direct flights bookable all the way through to March 2022, these are extremely good deals in their own right – and you can fly Virgin Atlantic instead of BA, if you prefer.
Options include San Francisco from £1362
and New York from £1169:
I would recommend paying a little more to book direct though. It generally makes things a lot easier, should you need to make any changes etc.

Bottom line
It is likely that we’ll see the USA added to the UK’s travel ‘Green List’ in the next few months, so I would personally be comfortable booking flights for late 2021/2022. If you’re looking to travel sooner, I would hold off for a bit to see the specific dates that the Government announces.
