Gulf Air is currently offering some excellent Business Class fares between London and Bangkok, starting at just £898 return.

Dates are available for outbound travel through to as late as November 2021. To get a quick idea of availability, Google Flights is probably your best bet (although note that the fares are listed as £1090 on there):

I would normally recommend booking direct with the airline these days, but Gulf Air charges significantly more for doing so – with a return in Business Class pricing up at ~£1,800. You are therefore probably best sticking with an online travel agency via Momondo, but with the strict caveat that doing so will very likely make flight changes/cancellation much more difficult if required. Make sure you book using a credit card for extra protection.

If you are just looking for a one-way or don’t mind flying in Economy in one of the directions though, you can get the total price down to £788 booking direct with Gulf Air:

In case you’re wondering, Gulf Air is based in Bahrain and the Business Class product on the Boeing 787s scheduled to fly to London and Bangkok is widely regarded as very good. Simple Flying has a detailed review here.

Bottom line

These are excellent fares, but I would still urge a bit of caution before hitting ‘book’. By the Autumn, international travel will hopefully be in a very different place to how things are now, but there are no guarantees on the rules/restrictions that certain countries may still be enforcing.

Given the UK’s (so far) highly successful vaccine programme, Thailand’s remarkably low case numbers, and the importance of tourism to the Thai economy, there are good reasons to think that travel between the two countries will be possible later this year. But, it is impossible to be 100% certain. I should mention that Bahrain also seems to be completing vaccinations relatively rapidly.

Another thing to be aware of are the long layovers in Bahrain on some of these flights, so factor in hotel costs, etc, accordingly.
