Lufthansa is currently offering some excellent Business Class fares from the UK to Bogota, Colombia. The best deals seem to be from Glasgow and start at just £1,083 return:

The really good news though, is that the fares are available all the way through until early December 2021. There has to be a reasonable chance that travel will be possible by then surely(?)!

The quickest way to see a wide range of dates is to use Google Flights:

 

As you can see, the fares listed on there are a little higher and, ordinarily, I would suggest taking a look at sites like Momondo and SkyScanner to find the lowest possible fares. However, these days I would recommend paying a little more to book direct with the airline – it makes cancelling or amending your flights considerably easier, should that be required.

Bottom line

Whether travel will be back to anything like normal by the end of this year is impossible to say. Personally, I doubt it will be ‘normal’, but I think there are reasons to be cautiously optimistic that it will at least be possible. I wouldn’t be tempted to book anything long haul for dates before the Summer at the earliest though.
