I noticed an interesting offer when I logged into my Amex account yesterday. The bonus for referring people from my personal Amex Gold Card has been temporarily boosted – both the sign up bonus for the person referred, and the bonus points I would receive for referring them.
Ordinarily, I would receive 6,000 points for a referral, and the person signing up would get 22,000 points as a sign up bonus (rather than the standard 20,000). At the moment, that has been boosted to 9,000 points for me, and 27,000 points for the person signing up.
The bonus on my (free) BA Amex has also been marginally increased too, though isn’t as exciting:
It therefore seems likely that there are a number of different offers doing the rounds at the moment, so check your account now (each card separately) to see what you’ve got!

From my gold if I refer gold I get 12k they get 32k
That’s actually very, very impressive – if you were referring a family member for example.
Don’t know if this is boosted for the referred but Amex Plat is currently 18k/100k.

14k Avios / 30k Avios on my BA.
Is that from/to a personal Platinum or business?
My personal Plat is 18k for me and 50k for them. The above one looks like it might be business?
