The French hotel chain Accor has launched a potentially lucrative promotion that will run from 19 October until 13 December, 2020. However, you must BOOK before 16 November, 2020.
You can earn:
- 1,000 bonus points if your stay includes a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night
- 500 bonus points if your stay doesn’t include a weekend night (i.e. Monday to Thursday)
You must register in order to participate – you can do that by clicking here and logging into your Accor Live Limitless account – and you can earn the bonus a maximum of FIVE times.
There is no minimum stay or room rate required – even the cheapest one-night stays at Ibis hotels will qualify – but you do need to stay in an Accor hotel located in one of these countries:
Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia , Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Réunion, Saint Martin or French Guyana.
What are 1,000 Accor points worth?
We rarely write about Accor Live Limitless because you cannot really gain any out-sized value from your points. Once you accumulate 2,000 points, you can convert these into a €40 voucher valid at Accor hotels.
You can also convert 3,000 Accor points into 3,000 Avios from Iberia Plus ONLY. (or you can set up your Accor account to auto-convert each stay to Avios on a 1:1 basis)
If you regularly read InsideFlyer, you’ll know that we are unlikely to recommend that you buy Avios for 2 euro cents apiece (1.8p), which is effectively what happens when you convert to Avios instead of taking the voucher…
However, it is worth reminding readers that Accor is one of the partners listed in Iberia’s partner challenge for October – click here for details – so you might be able to extract some additional value from an October Accor stay that you auto-convert to Iberia Plus.
Don’t Forget Cashback
If you are tempted by this promotion, it’s worth remembering that Accor does pay cashback via Topcashback. So you can reduce the cost of your weekend night(s) by picking up a bit of cashback on top…
The Bottom Line
If you happen to require a cheap one-night weekend stay somewhere, this promotion might just give you a high enough rebate to stay at an Ibis instead of elsewhere. So make sure to register and book your travel before 16 November…
