British Airway’s oneworld partner Finnair is offering some superb Business Class fares between Oslo and Bangkok. Fares are available for as little as £900 return!

What is particularly good about these fares is that they seem widely available all the way through to May/June 2021. Hopefully, travel will be back to something more like normal by then.

For about £65 more, you can book direct with Finnair too.

Word of warning

The best airline fares can often be found through sites like Momondo, which send you to an Online Travel Agency (OTA) to book, rather than booking direct with the airline. Cheaper fares are great, but you should also consider the potential extra hassle of using an OTA, if your flight is cancelled or something else goes wrong. In general, I am personally happy to accept the risk of booking via an OTA, as long as the cost saving makes it worthwhile. That risk may not make sense for you though. Regardless, always use a credit card (ideally one with decent customer service) and make sure you have good travel insurance.

Bottom line

Finnair offers a very solid Business Class experience and the opportunity to earn BA Avios and Tier Points. Assuming COVID restrictions have been relaxed by the middle of next year, re-positioning to Oslo should be cheap, quick and easy.

For ~£900, these are excellent deals.
