Iberia Plus is running a limited time promotion between now and 30 August, 2020. You will pay 50% of the usual Avios cost for any reward flights booked on Iberia, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum.

You can book any cabin : Economy, Premium Economy or Business. Your travel dates must be between 1 September 2020 and 15 March 2021.
To be clear, you can only book Iberia flights. No codeshares or partners! (that includes LEVEL and Vueling) You also won’t receive a discount on the Puente Aereo between Madrid and Barcelona, and on any Air Nostrum flights that do not operate to/from Madrid.
Regular readers and/or Iberia Plus fans will be well aware that you can book off-peak reward flights in Business Class between Madrid and New York / Boston / Chicago for as little as 34,000 Avios. Thanks to this promotion you’d be paying 17,000 Avios each way for Business Class – a steal!

The Bottom Line
I cannot find a landing page for this promotion and I’m not sure whether it’s open to all (or just Spanish residents), but hopefully you will see the lower pricing when attempting to book reward flights on Iberia Plus. I’m not sure how many Iberia Plus destinations in North and South America will let you enter at the moment, but you can always make a speculative booking and hope that Iberia Plus will let you change dates later…
Do you have any example routes and dates where this works? I can’t find any. Everything is showing at full price using Iberia metal for all routes and dates I checked. I tried with my location set to UK and Spain and the results were the same.
I would assume, therefore, that it is Spanish residents only. I had no problems finding half price for MAD-EZE in December.
Looks like you’re right. I changed my address to a Spanish one in my Iberia profile and I do now get the offer. Simply changing the location for the website at the top of the page doesn’t work.

Hi Craig, Do you have any other examples or where you seen this as I have a Spanish Iberia account , Spanish address, Browsing from Spain and still can’t see the offers ? Did it simply just show the lower rates or did you have to click through to see it?
You might have to click through. To be clear, I was looking for BCN-MAD-EZE in December and the direct LEVEL flights showed at regular price (in the weekly price view), but when I clicked through the connecting options on IB metal, I got the 50% off pricing.
My email from Iberia made no mention of route restrictions (other than what the post mentions for codeshares, etc.)
