Just a quick heads-up that Amex is currently offering BA (free and BAPP) cardholders 3,000 bonus Avios for spending £300+ online with British Airways by 16th February 2020.
Note that the terms state the transaction must be in Great British Pounds and that the offer can only be redeemed once per card.
Remember that you have to login to your Amex account and save the offer to your card in order to take advantage.
Conclusion
This is a nice little bonus if you were going to be spending money with BA anyway, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to ‘chase’ it.
Have you got a similar offer on one of your Amex cards?

Gordy says
This clearly a selective offer as it’s not on my BA PP card
Joe Deeney says
Keep an eye out for it – quite often it takes a little while for Amex to load the offers to all accounts (although it could be selective, the BA ones on the BA cards tend not to be – or are at least, VERY widely ‘targeted’.).

Still nothing showing on mine either.
Maxine Chivers says
Would buying over £300 of Avios points work or does it have to be a flight?
Joe Deeney says
Unfortunately, buying Avios won’t work – the payment gets processed differently so won’t trigger the bonus.
Maxine Chivers says
Thank you Joe. So what can be bought please?
Joe Deeney says
Anything directly sold through the BA website basically – flights, taxes/fees on avios awards, upgrades, seat assignments, etc, should all be fine. 🙂
