Radisson Rewards doesn’t tend to get a lot of coverage, but its latest promotion is well worth paying attention to.

The promotion runs until 31st March 2020 and members can earn up to 150,000 bonus points in total, after 15 stays. The earning schedule is as follows (the bonus points listed are cumulative):

Good deal?

Absolutely – if you had 15 stays, you would effectively be earning 10,000 bonus points per night, which is very good.

There are a couple of other reasons to like this promotion too:

1) It is available at all Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson hotels worldwide

2) Stays paid for by redeeming Points or Points + Cash are eligible to earn toward the Promotion bonus

Conclusion

This is a genuinely tempting offer.

Standard Radisson award night redemptions range between 9,000-70,000 points per night, so theoretically if you did 15 stays using points at a Category 1 (9,000 points per night) property, you would actually end up with more points than when you started! Category 1 properties are pretty rare these days though, of course.

I value Radisson Rewards Points at about 0.33p each, so 150,000 is a rebate of roughly £500 from the 15 stays, or ~£33 per stay.

By registering for and participating in the 2020 New Year promotion (“Promotion”), you acknowledge, and you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

To be eligible for the Promotion, you must: (i) Be a Radisson Rewards member (“Member”); (ii) Register online for the Promotion prior to checkout of the first Eligible Stay (to become an “Eligible Member”) and (iii) Complete all Eligible Stays between January 15, 2020 and March 31, 2020 (“Promotion Period”). The Promotion is available at all Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson hotels worldwide (collectively, “Participating Properties”).

Eligible Members will earn Bonus Points based on the number of Eligible Stays completed at Participating Properties during the Promotion Period, not to exceed 150,000 total Bonus Points (“Promotion Bonus”). Bonus Points will be credited to the Member’s account throughout the Promotion Period, when the standard points are credited, usually within 5-10 business days after the Eligible Stay has been consumed.

• Complete two (2) Stays, earn 5,000 Bonus Points when the second Eligible Stay is completed.
• Complete three (3) Stays, earn 10,000 additional Bonus Points (totaling 15,000 Bonus Points) when the third Eligible Stay is completed.
• Complete five (5) Stays, earn 15,000 additional Bonus Points (totaling 30,000 Bonus Points) when the fifth Eligible Stay has been completed.
• Complete (10) Stays, earn 45,000 additional Bonus Points (totaling 75,000 Bonus Points) when the tenth Eligible Stay has been completed.
• Complete (15) Stays, earn 75,000 additional Bonus Points (totaling 150,000 Bonus Points) when the fifteenth Eligible Stay has been completed.

In addition to the Promotion Bonus earned for Eligible Stays consumed during the Promotion Period, an Eligible Member will earn the standard 20 points issued per U.S. Dollar spent and their Tier Bonus (Silver, additional 2 points per U.S. Dollar spent; Gold, additional 5 points per U.S. Dollar spent; Platinum, additional 15 points per U.S. Dollar spent). 

An “Eligible Stay” means one or more consecutive Eligible Nights at the same Participating Property, regardless of the number of check-ins or checkouts that occur during that stay. 

An “Eligible Night” means a night at a Participating Property that is booked at an Eligible Rate, identified in the Participating Property’s reservation system as eligible to earn Radisson Rewards Points (“Points”). See the Radisson Rewards Terms and Conditions for more information. Stays paid for by redeeming Points or Points + Cash are eligible to earn toward the Promotion bonus. Stays and Nights booked using an ineligible booking source such as an Online Travel Agent (sometimes referred to as “OTA”) are not eligible.
