American Express has released another interesting statement credit offer for at least some cardholders. This time you can get £50 back when spending £200+ at participating Marriott Hotels

You need to book, stay and pay by 31/12/19. The full list of participating hotels can be found here – there’s a huge range of options throughout Western Europe.

How to register for American Express offers

If you have an American Express card issued directly by American Express (Amex Gold/Platinum, SPG, BA/BAPP etc), simply login to your American Express online account, scroll down to the “offers” tab and then click on “save to card” when you see the relevant offer.

Offers are targeted, so not every cardholder will receive every offer. I found the Marriott offer on my (free) British Airways Amex, but couldn’t see it on my Amex Gold.

Conclusion

This is an excellent promotion – effectively offering a rebate of up to 25% on a Marriott stay. I’ll almost certainly be taking advantage of it myself before the end of the year.
