I don’t suppose that there are too many readers of InsideFlyer UK who collect award points (i.e. miles) with Finnair Plus instead of Avios. But since this promotion looks like fun I thought I’d write about it…

Between 17 June and 31 August, 2019, Finnair Plus members can earn up to 15,000 bonus miles for earning transactions with non-airline partners. You can earn:

• 5,000 bonus miles for using 5 partners
• 10,000 bonus miles for using 10 partners
• 15,000 bonus miles for using 15 partners

Just to be clear, if you managed to earn miles with 12 different partners, you would earn 10,000 bonus miles…

Some partners you might not recognise. Others will look quite familiar and straightforward to use (rental car companies, booking.com, Pointshound, Rocketmiles, etc.)

I certainly don’t recommend starting to earn Finnair award points simply based on this promotion. But if you already collect Finnair miles and you fancy adding to your stash, you might be able to manage 5 or 10 of these partners and earn a decent chunk of bonus miles…
