You can currently save a massive 40% when booking No1 Lounge ‘Clubrooms’ access at Gatwick Airport, via Norwegian Reward. That means you’ll only have to pay £27.20, rather than the standard price of £45.

To take advantage, you need to book by 30th June 2018 and travel by 31st August 2018. Clubrooms are available at both Gatwick North and South Terminals.

Good deal?

Yes, I think so – certainly if you want to have a proper meal and a few cocktails or glasses of champagne before a flight, £27.20 is a great price at an airport! The relative privacy and serenity of a more ‘exclusive’ lounge experience is worth factoring in too.

Obviously, if you just want to grab a quick coffee then it wouldn’t be a sensible option.

I haven’t had chance to visit the Clubrooms myself yet, but my old pal (and InsideFlyer Netherlands contributor) Amy passed through a few months ago and had this to say:

“Food was good – they had a daily soup which was awesome and the menu is quite extensive. I also tried the brownie which was heavenly. There’s a nice view of the runway and my glass was never empty!

I was very tired & jetlagged but the staff made me comfortable, walked me to the chair, kept asking if I wanted anything else, etc. Overall, very easy going whilst at the same time on point with service.”

Norwegian Reward members can collect 25 CashPoints (worth ~£2.30) with every lounge booking too – signing up is free and only takes 30 seconds.

Bottom line

If you’re looking for a relaxing place to spend a couple of hours and have a decent meal (washed down with a few drinks!) before your flights from Gatwick, the No.1 Lounges Clubrooms could be excellent value at £27.20.

Norwegian Reward members will received a 15% discount when they book a No1 Lounge at Gatwick, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Heathrow T3, Clubrooms at Gatwick and My Lounge at Gatwick North.
