Just a quick post for those looking to pick up some SAS Extra Points. Their current car rental promotion with Avis may be of interest, as you will earn 10,000 bonus Points for rentals of three days or more (category C or higher), booked between now and 15 April, and consumed between 14 May 2018 and 30 March 2019:

Bottom line

As always, make sure you shop around to ensure that the rate is genuinely competitive. But 10,000 bonus miles sounds like a decent rebate for a three-day rental, especially because round-trip SAS awards start at, wait for it…, 10,000 points and SAS also only imposes minimal taxes/fees.
