How to Fly in Upper Class and Save £££

If you fancy returning in Upper Class – to get some sleep on the overnight return flight – but don’t mind flying in Economy during the daytime, don’t book one-way flights… book this!

For an extra £90 and 21,000 miles, you can upgrade your return flight from Economy Class to Upper Class.

This trick works because you are avoiding the additional APD that the UK government charges for all cabins except Economy. So spend your savings on reserving an Emergency Exit / extra legroom seat. The only downside is that you are missing out on the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at Heathrow’s Terminal 3… 🙁
