Back in January, I wrote about the upcoming demise of the “Double Dip” option offered by Hilton Honors. Starting in April, you will no longer be able to earn Honors points and airline miles for the same hotel stay.

I’m not sure whether Hilton Honors has pre-purchased a massive stack of miles from Lufthansa Miles & More, but “Double Dip” is definitely going out in style for Miles & More collectors!

Between now and 25 March, 2018, Hilton Honors members can earn:

• 1,500 bonus miles for their first stay
• 2,000 bonus miles for their second stay
• 2,500 bonus miles for the third and subsequent stays

These miles are in addition to the standard 1 mile and 10 Honors points per US dollar that you would normally earn as a basic member.

In order to participate, you must:

1. Register for the promotion by clicking here and filling in your Honors account details
2. Set your account to “Points & Miles” with your airline preference as Lufthansa Miles & More

Many Hilton Honors promotions also apply to award stays, especially if you charge something to your room in order to generate some point-earning activity…
