There is a pretty good Eurostar sale on at the moment, offering fares to Paris and Belgium from just £29 each way and to Lyon and the South of France from £45, in Standard Class.
The number of tickets available at the sale prices are limited and you need to book by 17/01/2018 (inclusive).
Eligible travel dates vary depending on the destination:
- Paris or Brussels from £29 each way – travel between 15 January and 28 March
- Any Belgian station from £35 each way – travel between 15 January and 28 March
- Lyon from £45 each way – travel between 11 May and 17 September
- Avignon or Marseille from £49 each way – travel between 11 May and 17 September
£29 isn’t the very best Eurostar fare we’ve seen in the last few months, but it’s still a very decent price and preferable to flying to Paris in my opinion, particularly if you happen to live near London, Ebbsfleet or Ashworth.
If you check the terms on the promo page, you’ll see that Standard Premier fares are available from £70 too:
“Fare is from £29 one way based on a return trip of £58 in Standard class and £70 one way based on a return trip of £140 in Standard Premier class valid from London St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International or Ashford International to Paris Gare du Nord, Lille Europe, Calais Fréthun or Brussels-Midi.”

Bottom line
I haven’t been to Paris for a couple of years, so might actually take advantage of the Eurostar sale myself this time. These may not be the best prices we’ve ever seen, but the promo still offers pretty good value.
