If you’re interested in bargain Business Class from London to Bangkok, check out the latest sale from 5* Skytrax rated Garuda Indonesia – with return fares available from just £1,088.51.

Fares look to be available from April through to December 2018.

To get the very best fares I would recommend booking this one direct on the Garuda website, as Google Flights etc are showing the price as being a bit higher (though you can still use Google Flights to get a general idea of dates and availability):

It’s also possible to book a one way from London to Bangkok for an excellent £616.71:

Booking one way from Bangkok back to London worked out much more expensive on the dates I checked.

Is Garuda any good?

Absolutely brilliant by all accounts. It’s a Skytrax 5 * airline and I’ve only ever heard good things over the last few years – there’s a great review of Business Class here.

The food looks excellent on Garuda in Business and FIrst Class and gets great reviews.

Where to credit the Miles?

Garuda is a member of the SkyTeam alliance and has other partners too, so you’ve got lots of choice.

I would personally go for ANA Mileage Club I think, though KLM / Air France Flying Blue or Etihad Guest might be more popular choices. All three of them offer 125% of flown Miles, so you’d be looking at earning something like 21,000 Miles.

Garuda has been known to offer extremely generous Miles redemption promotions in the past, so you may even wish to consider crediting to GarudaMiles

Bottom line

Bargain Business Class from London to Bangkok for under £1,100 is a great fare on an excellent airline.

Have you flown Business Class with Garuda before – what did you think about it?

What is the foot space like when the seat is folded out as a bed ? Is it as small and uncomfortable as Finnair, Swiss or Qatar ??
