Only yesterday I wrote about some cheap Virgin Atlantic business class fares to the US West Cost. If you are looking to pick up some more Virgin Flying Club miles, their current car rental promotion with Avis may be of interest. You can earn 6,000 bonus miles for rentals of two days or more, booked between now and 28 February, and consumed by 30 June:

1.Earn 6,000 miles for rentals of two days or more.
2.Reservation period: From 1 January to 28 February 2018.
3.Rental period: From 1 January to 30 June 2018.
4.Bonus Flying Club miles awarded on all rentals taking place in North America, Canada, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
5.Valid at all participating Avis locations in the regions listed above.
6.Bonus Flying Club miles are valid on all rentals taking place from 1 January to 30 June 2018.
7.All rentals must begin by 30 June 2018 .
8.Entitlement: Valid on rental car group C and above for a minimum of two days and maximum rental of 28 days.

Bottom Line

As always, make sure you shop around to ensure that the rate is genuinely competitive. But 6,000 bonus miles sounds like a decent rebate for a two-day rental.
