Regular readers are well aware of the Spanish version of Groupon – since they sell 2,000 Avios por 19 euros at regular intervals.

Now, Groupon is selling discount codes valid for paid flights on Vueling. Essentially you can receive an 85% discount by:

• Buying a €20 discount code for €2.99
• Buying a €10 discount code for €1.49

You can find details by clicking here. However, as usual, you should click to the offer via the Iberia Plus E-Store to earn a few Avios (9 per euro at the time of writing) for your troubles…

Now… there’s some fine print involved, so this offer isn’t for everybody.

• The €20 code can only be used for a RETURN ticket in OPTIMA class (including baggage and seat selection)
• The €10 code can only be used for a RETURN ticket in BASIC class (hand baggage only)
• You must book 21 days in advance of the first flight, and NO LATER than 30 January, 2018
• Your flights must take place between 10 January and 31 May, 2018, with the Easter period (22 March – 9 April) excluded
• A maximum of one Groupon coupon can be applied PER PASSENGER
