Club Carlson members who have been participating in the “Free Fridays” promotion should have seen the first of their free night certificates hit their accounts on 15 August.

Unfortunately, however, there is a bit of a process to use your certificates online. Here’s the trick…
On the Club Carlson main page, you should enter “FREEFRI” in the “Code or ID” cell.
You should then see a list of available hotels. Except they will all show the regular room rate, which will certainly seem odd…
But if you click on the highlighted “More Search Options”, you will see this:
Enter the E-certificate code you have been given by Club Carlson. You can find this quite easily by logging into your Club Carlson account; it should be on your main account page.
And… voila… your room rate should become 0, and you can book your free Friday night online…
Why don’t I screenshot that? Well, because I rarely stay at Club Carlson hotels and don’t have a certificate to use…
