You can currently earn double Avios when flying British Airways to a range of European destinations.

The offer is on for selected routes only and you need to book by Monday 12th June 2017 and travel by by 25th November 2017. 

Note that you need to credit the flights to your Avios.com account, not your BA Executive Club account.

Where can I fly?

It’s important to state that “all travel must start and finish in the UK or Ireland” – so you’re not going to get double Avios on one-ways back to the UK.

A Qualifying Flight is defined as a single sector flight between Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, London Stansted, Edinburgh or Dublin to/from Malaga, Alicante, Ibiza, London City, Mykonos, Nice, Palma, Florence, Geneva, Milan Linate, Faro.

In other words, it’s BA’s lesser known routes. Nothing from Heathrow or Gatwick is included.

The eligible booking fare classes are J, C, D, R, I (in Club Europe), and Y, B, H, K, M, L, V, N, Q, O (in Economy).

Bottom line

If you’re planning a trip on any of the eligible routes and can book by Monday, double Avios is a nice little bonus. Nothing to get too excited about though and I certainly wouldn’t change any travel plans over it.

This promotion is only open to existing Avios Travel Rewards members, who are resident in the United Kingdom or Ireland and are aged 18 or over. Bonus Avios Points can be earned on an unlimited number of Qualifying Flights booked – 29 May – 12 June 2017 inclusive and travelled between 29 May 2016 – 25 November 2017 (dependent on varying dates of route flight operation) inclusive.
