Amex seems to be showering us in a spate of bonus point offerings at the moment. Hot on the heels of the BA Amex 3K/7K bonus points comes a nice little earner from American Express and Transport for London.

If you have an American Express card that earns Membership Rewards (e.g. the excellent Amex Gold charge card),  simply go to your Amex online account and save the offer to your card to get 1 extra Membership Rewards point per £1 of spend with TfL (i.e. by using your contactless card to pay for TfL services).

We strongly recommend an American Express card that earns Membership Rewards points. MR points are a “flexible” currency that can be converted into a huge number of airline miles and hotel points (amongst many other things).
