The latest British Airways sale isn’t amazing but there are some reasonable offers worth flagging.
The ‘Luxury Sale’ runs until 23rd May 2017, so there’s no rush.
If you’ve ever fancied splurging on First Class (my advice would be to save your money and try Singapore/Etihad/Cathay etc, but obviously some people value Direct flights highly), it’s not a bad time to buy. I’ve had a quick flick through and the pick of the crop seem to be:
- Muscat: £1,874
- Abu Dhabi: £1,876
- Boston: £2,193
- Washington DC: £2,340
- Chicago: £2,395
- Miami: £2,450
- San Jose (California): £2,592
Is it worth spending that sort of money on BA First Class – in my honest opinion, no. On the other hand, everyone places different values on things, so if you can afford it and you’ve always wanted to fly First…
The Business Class (Club World) highlights are:
- Punta Cana (Dominican Republic): £1,192
- Abu Dhabi: £1,291
- Cancun: £1,489
- Tampa: £1,493
- Seoul: £1,760
- India: from ~ £1,500
- Lima: £1,761
With the exception of Tampa, the Club World fares to the USA look expensive to me – often just a little lower than First Class.
Bottom line
This isn’t the best British Airways sale we’ve seen, but there are a few decent fares available – particularly Punta Cana in Club World for £1,192.
Has anyone spotted any other interesting fares? Tempted to book with BA or are you giving this sale a miss?
