You can currently get a 15% Iberia discount by using the code MARCH15. Book by 28th February 2017 for flights throughout March.
Flights have to be Return (one-ways don’t work) from London to Spain (all destinations), Panama, Guayaquil, Lima, Caracas, Cali, Medellin, Bogota, Johannesburg, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago de Chile or El Salvador.
The discount applies to both Economy and Business Class.
Only flights on Iberia and Air Nostrum qualify (so if you’re connecting to a long-haul in Madrid, the legs to/from London can’t be on BA).
All you have to do is head to the Iberia website, select the flights you want as normal
and then add the promotional code MARCH15 in the box.
I’ve tested a few routes and the Iberia discount code seems to knock a genuine 15% off the total price, not just the base fare, which is good to see.
The code should also work for flights from Zurich, Hamburg, Venice, Rome and Marseille too, which might be worth investigating if you’re searching for a good value Business Class ticket to one of the destinations listed and can’t find anything reasonable from London.
Bottom line
I flew Iberia Business Class to Chicago a few weeks ago (using Avios), and it’s a very solid product for crossing the Atlantic (considerably better than BA Club World, in my opinion).
A 15% Iberia discount off cash fares isn’t bad at all – if you can find a decent price to start with. The discount is valid until next Tuesday, so hopefully some of you can make good use of it!
trying to book a return to Lima in J via Madrid but the booking system only shows BA operating flights for the LHR-MAD leg and won’t allow me to use the code, is there anyway to get round it? wouldn’t mind an overnight at Madrid.
Theoretically it should be solvable, but in practice maybe not. If the Iberia site simply won’t find the options you need directly, I would try searching on Kayak/momondo/etc, limiting the selection to Iberia flights (and perhaps search for longer layovers if you can too), then if it turns up anything useful see if you can click through to book on the Iberia website rather than through an online travel agency. Assuming that works, obviously just add the code as usual. Apologies for not being able to offer anything more concrete!
