Check your emails! – Avios.com are sending out messages about a new targeted Avios Super Boost offer, and you might be in for a pleasant surprise.

Rather like the IHG Accelerate offer, those Avios.com members who receive this offer are being given different collection targets and bonuses. The one we received is as follows (please share in the comments if you receive anything different):

2,400 bonus Avios for collecting 5,500 works out as a 43.6% bonus, which is pretty handy!

In other words, £22.92 of Tesco vouchers would get you 7,900 Avios (although you can only actually transfer in multiples of 50p).

All methods of collection seem to be eligible for triggering the bonus, and if you are eligible, you need to actively opt in to the offer via the link in the email sent to you by 28th February 2017. The eligible collection period ends on 30th April 2017.

Note that this is an Avios.com offer, so don’t collect with or transfer to British Airways Executive Club, because you won’t get the bonus.

Bottom line

Free and easy bonus Avios are always great, and the Avios Super Boost delivers exactly that – for those lucky enough to be targeted. Keep your fingers crossed!

Terms:

1. The promotion is open to selected existing Avios Travel Rewards Programme (ATRP) members that have signed up to the Super Boost Promotion. (“Eligible Member (s)”)
2. Access to the Super Boost promotion (“the Promotion”) is via email invitation and requires the Eligible Member to access the sign-up page link contained in the invitation email and sign up to the Promotion. Links are not transferable and are intended for exclusive use of the Eligible Members only.
3. The Promotion will start on 01 January 2017 and end on 30 April 2017 (‘Promotional Period’)
4. Eligible Members can sign-up to the Promotion between 01 January 2017 and 28 February 2017.
5. Upon signing up to the Promotion, the Eligible Member will be designated two collection targets, Boost and Super Boost (Collection Targets). Bonus Avios will be awarded at the end of the Promotional Period based on which of the two targets the Eligible Member has reached.(“Bonus Avios”)
6. To reach the Collection Targets, Eligible Members must collect Avios directly or indirectly with Avios Air Partners, Non Air Partners, or through the Avios eStore/In Store. (“Eligible Avios”). 7. Eligible Members will not be awarded Bonus Avios if the Collection Targets are not reached. Eligible Members will only receive one of the Bonus Avios, depending on which Collection Target is reached.
8. Bonus Avios will be awarded in the Eligible Member ATRP account at the end of the promotional period by 31 May 2017.
9. All Avios awarded to the Eligible Member ATRP account during the Promotional Period will count towards the collection targets, provided the Customer has signed up to the promotion by 28 February 2017.
10. Eligible Avios collected during the Promotional Period must be shown in your Avios account during the Promotional period in order to count towards your collection target. The award of Eligible Avios are subject to the individual partner terms and conditions, please beware of the Avios award timings for the partners below:
    (i) Llloyds Bank – monthly
    (ii) Tesco – quarterly (March, June, September, December)
    (iii) Shell – quarterly (March, June, September, December)
    (iv) eStore – 35 days after transaction
11. Household accounts (if selected to participate) will be treated as one account for the purposes of this promotion with all collection counting towards allocated target.
12. Combine My Avios is not included in this promotion, transfer of Avios from other programmes partners will not contribute towards collection targets.
