I make no secret of my admiration for Norwegian Air (or their prices at least…), and they just keep getting cheaper! You can now book one-way flights Direct from Boston to London Gatwick for an absurd £65.30!
I think my train home for Christmas genuinely cost more than that.
This is a UK site…?
Yes, don’t worry – I haven’t (completely) lost my mind over the festive period! You can book the outbound flight for a still very reasonable £134.
A Return would therefore work out at a smidge under £200, which is fairly remarkable in itself. I really can’t get over the one-way price from Boston though.
For Points/Miles collectors, another key advantage of being able to book these cheap one-way flights is that it allows you to potentially splash out and use your Miles to travel Business or First Class on the outbound, without having to worry about how you’re getting back.
If you are looking to travel in Business Class to/from the USA, don’t forget that the best value Avios ‘sweetspot’ these days might not be what you think it is…
Bottom Line
~£200 Return to America for Direct flights in great value, but the £65.30 one-ways are truly remarkable!

Amazingly, I’m seeing a £125 flight from Dublin-Boston via Oslo end of March. 11.5hrs so a bit of a detour, but still a great one-way fare
