We recently posted about Malmaison‘s great value £99 dinner, bed and breakfast offer, an offer that runs until 11 November. In addition to this, Malmaison has an ongoing deal for the more budget-conscious – £40 a night rooms if you are prepared to book well in advance.
When we say “well in advance” we mean it: to secure the £40 rate you need to book a minimum of 120 days in advance. However, if you are in a position to be able to lock in your hotel stays around 4 months in advance, this can net you an absolute bargain, not least because London stays are included.
The rate applies to up to two people staying. If the £40 rate is not available (it won’t necessarily be), you may well still find a heavily discounted option on your 120 day advance purchase. Full, non refundable prepayment is required at time of booking.
One of the great things about this offer is just how easy it is to book. There’s a dedicated “promo rates calendar” page which automatically flips to 120+ days from the date of search, and shows three-weekly availability on a single page, which can easily be changed to the next/previous 3 weeks.
The offer is not valid on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Saturdays and Oxford is excluded. However, that still gives you options in:
Can you earn loyalty points or miles with Malmaison?
Not with this offer. Although you can earn 1000 Virgin Flying Club miles per stay at Malmaison, they are only earned through the ‘Virgin rate’, booked through the dedicated phone number and will not apply to this Malmaison sale rate.
Are Malmaison Hotels any good?
As Joe noted in his flagging of the £99 Dinner, Bed & Breakfast deal, they are generally very solid boutique-style 4*s in historic buildings, situated in convenient city centre locations.
