New RocketMiles Bonus – 4,000 Miles For A One Night Stay!

There’s a new RocketMiles bonus offer for 3,000 extra Miles of your choice for your first booking.

The bonus applies to almost all of the many, many airline loyalty programmes that RocketMiles partners with, including British Airways Avios and Virgin Flying Club.

In my view the real value of these bonuses though, is to collect a decent chunk of Miles with more ‘exotic’ programmes like American AAdvantage, United Mileage Plus, Alaska Mileage Plan, Virgin America Elevate etc, which have some great award chart sweetspots but can be tricky to earn substantial amounts of Miles with from the UK

You need to book by 30th September, but your stay can be as far in the future as the RocketMiles schedule allows you to book – currently August 2017. One-day stays are absolutely fine.

The standard earning rate is at least 1,000 Miles per day with the majority of RocketMiles’ partner schemes, so with the bonus you can earn 4,000 Miles from a one-day stay!

RocketMiles rates are usually higher than the cheapest rates you can find elsewhere online, but if you’re staying somewhere cheap then this offer can still work out incredibly lucratively – if you value the Miles.

For instance, I’ve got a short stay in Malta soon and could book 3-4* hotels for ~ £45.00 and earn 4,000 Alaska Mileage Plan Miles!

To show that Malta isn’t some sort of weird one off, here’s some very similar prices for the same date in Riga.

I value Alaska Mileage Plan Miles very highly because of their generous award chart (eg. Europe-Hong Kong in Cathay Pacific Business Class for 42,500 Miles each way) and the ability to have a free stopover even on one-way flights, so the Miles earned in these examples are worth more to me than the cost of the stay, even if I didn’t need a hotel!

Remember that you can use any RocketMiles account to book hotels for anyone, and can transfer Miles earned to anyone’s airline loyalty programme account, which can make these ‘first booking’ bonuses… very interesting.

Bottom Line

This RocketMiles bonus offer is very generous and well worth taking advantage of!

If you do not already have a RocketMiles account, please sign up through my referral link as I get some free Miles when you stay – cheers!
