250 Points aren’t worth a huge amount (redemptions for a free night start at 8,000 Points), but it’s a nice little incentive for doing something that many travellers do anyway, and hopefully the feedback helps them improve their service.
The standard earning rate with Best Western Rewards is 10 Points per $1.00 USD, so you’d otherwise have to spend about £19.00 ($25.00) to earn an equivalent amount of Points.
I’d like to see more chains offering this sort of incentive for the feedback that guests take the time to provide. It acknowledges that feedback is valuable, and also gives me more confidence that it might be taken a bit more seriously.
Obviously this isn’t exactly world-changing news, but it isn’t something I’ve seen mentioned anywhere before and it should stack nicely the fantastic 3,500 ‘Miles & More’ Miles per stay offer that Best Western is currently running.
Don’t forget that you can status match pretty much any hotel status (and, I believe, even some airline statuses!) to Best Western Diamond.
My husband and I have been staying at the Best Western Americana, Dinuba, CA for many, many years. I have family in the area and really look forward to getting to our hotel to rest and recover no matter what it is we are doing with family members. This Best Western is affordable, ALWAYS super clean, well managed and looks great inside and out. The breakfast food area is open on time, clean and the variety of food items are always very good. We truly enjoy staying at this Best Western anytime we need a place to stay. Sometimes we use points or gift cards to pay for our bill. I would say we lodge in Dinuba at least once a month throughout the year. I mostly give the credit to the Manager AJ. He and his team do a fantastic job of keep this place in great condition and are so very helpful at all times. B W at the border of Tnn and GA. Route 75. They have the best staff, rooms nice and clean. And the rooms smell good. Good breakfast. I rate this BW. A Ten!!!!
