A few days ago I wrote about how you can currently get free Elite Status with the luxury hotel group ‘Leading Hotels of the World.
I know quite a few readers have managed to take advantage of that (still waiting for my own confirmation!), so I am therefore delighted to share another free elite status offer – this time with Small Luxury Hotels of the World’ (SLH).
SLH represent 520 independent, luxury hotels throughout the world, including some of the best rated hotels in London – The Arch, The Ampersand, St. James Club – and stunning resorts in exotic locations like Kandolhu Island in the Maldives.
SLH’s loyalty programme is simply called ‘The Club’ and has three tiers:
Special Member (base tier)
– A hotel room upgrade on us (subject to availability at check-in)
– Access to Club Rates
– Regular Club newsletters with exclusive partner offers
Loved Member (usually requires one stay)
– Daily complimentary continental breakfast for two
– Late check-out (subject to availability at check-in)
Honoured Member (requires an additional 5 stays)
– Free reward nights (terms and conditions apply)
– Priority complimentary room upgrade (subject to availability at check-in)
– Early check-in (subject to availability at check-in)
An upgrade just for signing up the standard way is a pretty generous benefit, but we can do better than that!

The Deal
To become a ‘Loved’ member you usually have to have stayed at least once at an SLH hotel, but if you sign up using this special link you are given ‘Loved’ status immediately.
Free upgrades, free breakfast and late check-out, just for signing up using the right link, is a fantastic offer! The benefits are comparable to top-tier Diamond/Platinum status with some of the major hotel programmes – and they usually require dozens of stays.
Another massive benefit (although it isn’t explained very clearly on the SLH site), is that after five stays you will earn a free night to use at any SLH hotel, as well as hitting ‘Honoured’ status.
After that, you will earn another free night for every five additional stays. The only restriction to note is that you must stay at at least two separate SLH hotels.
I’m not sure how long this deal will last so would advise signing up now.
As a small added bonus, SLH is also offering double Avios on stays made on or before 30 June, 2016 at any of their 520 hotels.

As regards this, I know a bit about the Ampersand. Nicely decorated rooms but they are absolutely tiny! Fantastic location though.

Signed up for Loved status at SLH and it was instantly processed. Look forward to staying at some of these hotels to get to Honoured status!
