Etihad is currently running a “Winter Sun Sale” from the UK, offering Economy and Business Class flights to various destinations at substantial discounts.
You can view the full range of destinations, travel classes and prices here, but the real value appears to be in flights to India in Business Class, which start at a very healthy £1450 return. And let’s not forget just how impressive Etihad Business Class is.
You need to be quick in booking, as you have until the end of tomorrow. The travel window, however, is much more relaxed, with discounted flights available right through until 31 October 2016.
The standout value flights for us were:
- Bangalore – Business £1550
- Chennai – Business £1550
- Dhaka – Business £1550
- Ho Chi Minh City – Business £1700
- Hyderabad – Business £1550
- Karachi – Business £1450
- Kolkata – Business £1550
- Lahore – Business £1450
- Mumbai – Business £1550
- New Delhi – Business £1550
- Tokyo – Business from £ 2000
Finally, if you’ve not yet signed up to Etihad Guest, the Etihad Airways frequent flyer programme, you can get 500 miles for doing so if you join up via this link. The miles don’t vest until you complete your first “earn” transaction with Etihad, but if you’re impatient you can just review a hotel on holidaycheck, and credit the 150 miles you get to Etihad – this will trigger the 500 bonus too.

As regards the 500 freemiles – it says:
‘You’ll then receive 500 miles as a Welcome Bonus, when you complete your first earn transaction’
so not free, alas!
About the Nationwide account switch via Topcashback you posted last week – I have had a go and the money is showing up in my TCB account as pending. 🙂

Point taken, you’re keeping me honest Andrew 🙂 See amendment…

Thank you! I didn’t know about holidaycheck.com. I have joined Etihad Guest and holidaycheck and posted a review. Fingers crossed for the 650 miles 🙂
I have done well out of you this week, with this and the bank switching. A good start. Didn’t know this site existed last week.

Thanks for the positive feedback Andrew. We’re delighted to have you on board as a reader. While there’s a grand history to the InsideFlyer brand, we are of course a new site (we only launched in November last year), so if you do find us useful, please do spread the word – and feel free to join us on the forums, too: http://www.insideflyer.co.uk/forums.
