British Airways seem to have launched their customary Christmas and New Year premium cabin sale from London. It’s in their reservation system, but they don’t appear to have made an announcement yet.
With Business Class fares to the USA and Asia below £1400, there are some bargains to be had. San Francisco is at £1800 which is not really that cheap, but you can take £700 off if you trade in 30,000 Avios. This seems to be an enhanced rate offer similar to the one BA ran a few weeks ago from Copenhagen.
Standout deals from London, before the discount are:
- Chicago £1349
- Miami £1398
- New York £1395
- Vancouver £1383
- Hong Kong £1500
- Shanghai £1394
If you can/need to travel 21/12 to 3/1/16 from London hop on the deals now. I suspect they won’t last – at least if previous years are anything to go by. You have until 30 November to book in any event.
The Avios discount is structured as follows:
There is also an ex-Dublin version of the sale, which you might like to check out too.
This is an example from Dublin to SFO (fare columns are Economy/Premium Economy/Business). These fares are each way!:
Yes – some Club fares are cheaper than World Traveller Plus and indeed World Traveller in one case! However, you cannot get any more than EUR60 off using Avios.
