The latest cross-earning deal, between UBER and Starwood SPG works for UK based members and those with UK billed credit cards for UBER. Well at least it should work.  The special site allowed me to register for the scheme using my SPG number and UK UBER account. It is worth noting that you must have had a recent stay (this calendar year) before you start earning points from UBER rides. However, SPG has recently released its Hot Escapes and EUFlyer has a helpful list. This includes the Skyline at Heathrow for about EUR92, although rates do vary significantly.
