If you’ve been dreaming of a safari adventure, now is a great time to book. Lufthansa and Brussels Airlines are currently offering attractive business class fares to Nairobi, with departures from Stockholm.
Nairobi is the gateway to Kenya’s world-famous safari parks and reserves, making this an excellent deal for travellers who want both comfort and adventure.
The deal
- Airlines: Lufthansa & Brussels Airlines
- Route: Stockholm – Nairobi (via Frankfurt or Brussels)
- Travel period: Autumn 2025 through June 2026
- Fare: Starting around £1090 return in business class
- Booking: Available on the Lufthansa website or fare search sites like Momondo
- Sale period: Until further notice (can end at any time)

Product & experience
On Lufthansa, you’ll typically fly aboard the Airbus A330 or A340, featuring the familiar fully flat business class product.
Brussels Airlines may be an even better choice – most of its long-haul aircraft feature a 1-2-1 staggered configuration, offering direct aisle access for every passenger (similar to SWISS or Austrian).
Earning miles
- Miles & More: Earns spending-based miles (minimum 4 miles per euro spent)
- Status points: 480 qualifying points – 200 for each long-haul sector + 40 points for the feeder flights
What’s the downside?
Obviously, you’ll need to arrange flights to/from Stockholm (and realistically accommodation too). There are usually plenty of affordable options for that though and you could always use Avios to fly with BA.
Whether a night or two in Stockholm can genuinely be classed as a downside will depend on your circumstances and how much holiday time you have etc. It’s a great city for a short break in its own right.
Having to connect in Frankfurt or Brussels isn’t ideal, but the flight times aren’t too bad.
Bottom line
For safari lovers or anyone planning a trip to East Africa, this is a good opportunity to combine premium comfort with great value. With fares from around £1,090, you can fly in style to Nairobi and still have plenty left over for game drives, luxury lodges, or a beach escape on the Kenyan coast.
