IHG has launched a “Pick Your Payoff” promotion for this autumn, starting on 13^th October and running until the end of the year.

IHG One Rewards members can choose ONE of the following two offers. Please note that once you have registered for a reward, you are not allowed to change it.

Offer 1 gives IHG Rewards members the option of receiving 2,000 bonus points for every two nights stayed until 31st December. There is no limit on the number of nights you stay.

Offer 2 gives members the option of receiving 10,000 bonus points for every 4 nights stayed until 31st December. Again, there’s no limit on the number of nights you stay.

Bottom Line

If you are intending to stay with IHG for more than 4 nights this autumn, then obviously the second offer is more advantageous.

However as the value of IHG points is roughly 0,4p per point, neither option is hugely exciting. Option 1 would give you an effective rebate of about £4 per night, and for Option 2 it works out about £10 per night.
